DC-45
New Digital Cable DC-45 is an improved version of the
discontinued model DC-32. Gold-plated silver (99.99% purity)
center conductor and shield/return wire; porous Teflon dielectric
material (proprietary product of ELCO Audio, Inc.).
Increasing the diameter of the dielectric part considerably
reduced the electrical capacity of the cable and, consequently,
broadened the transmission band of a digital signal while improving
the sound quality, its softness, and focus and attack parameters.
The cable is terminated with RCA-type Cardas audio connectors.
To ensure consistency with the conductor, the connectors have
a gold-plated outer shell and rhodium-over-silver-plated body.
